Alien Trail

Ok so last year I really contemplated selling my mountain bike because I typically ride my road bike these days.... So I brushed off the cobwebs last week and took a ride with Adam, my brother Steve and my Dad. We rode the famous Alien trail here in Aztec . It goes right by a famous alien landing site.. We did the 5 mile loop which doesnt sound too hard but it has like 1/4 mile of 2 feet sand, 2 miles of fun swoopy single track , a huge chunk of what looks/feels like slick rock (Moab) and for some danger ...sharp bushes if you fall.. they feel like daggers:) over all--- it was AWESOME! I highly recomend it.


Can I just say that getting back on my mountain bike it was like seeing an old friend.. I Loved it. I had forgotten how much I love mountain biking.

Riverfest 2010

Ok so I am turning a new leaf and starting up the blog again! I am cant believe how long it has been since my last post. Well life is great in Farmington NM. We are having a great summer. We recently went to Riverfest... a fun festival they have here with food, music, weenie dog races and rafting...

We recently got a Pug puppy that is adorable and has the sweetest personality. We named her Brighton (like the ski resort, not the jewelry):)

We took Brighton for a walk around Burg park with Buce and Ruth. The leaves were beautiful.

My 29 th Birthday

Well it was my 29th birthday today.. I had a great time. First Ruth took me to a little restaraunt called Something Special in Farmington. We had a great time on their patio. It was warm out with a cool breeze and there were grape vines all over.. really fun atmosphere.

It occured to me after i ate half of my plate to take a picture of it. it was beautiful before i mauled it.
Move over Vanna White.

Adam got me this AWESOME Nixon watch. Its super colorful and fun. I love it !

That evening my parents and brother Steve took me out to dinner and then home to play games. My favorite.. This is also a shirt Adam got me. He has great taste.
HEre's an upclose of the watch. Adam also got me a 16 gig I Touch.. i LOVE it. I had an 8 gig before and ran out of space.

I had the best birthday today! thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and for being in my life one way or the other. I hope everyone feels as loved as I do on their birthdays.

Ryan broke her leg recently on the slide. We went down together and her barefoot
caught the edge of the slide and it gee her a vertical break on the Tibia bone. so sad. at least
she got a pink cast.

Easter weekend in Salt Lake

Ok here's our Easter Pictures.. so we went to Wheeler farms for a little egg hunt, to see some farm animals and to obviously see the Easter Bunny... this was her response!haha
Someone told me that their Easter Bunny talked to the kids.. but like the mouth didnt move and so kids were kinda freaked out. At least our Bunny didnt do that:) he was just kinda goofy lookin.
